It’s amazing to think the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car have remained essentially unchanged since the introduction of the Panther platform over three decades ago. Ford has tried to stop production for several years but disappointed police, taxi and limo drivers have persuaded Ford to keep the ancient line in production. Finally, though, Ford is abandoning the traditional front engine, rear drive, body-on-frame car to the annals of history in September.

Subaru has been very secretive about the car, not allowing any information to get out to the media, but our colleagues in Japan were able to uncover some important details.

 

The very first 2012 Buick LaCrosse models began rolling off the line in June, but a new recall notice from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration will have these cars going right back to the dealerships from which they came. NHTSA states that 4,077 LaCrosse sedans are affected by this recall, covering vehicles built between June 9 and July 2 of this year.
